Scorzonera

Softer and sweeter than salsify

Scorzonera should not be confused with salsify, which has yellow skin and has practically desappeared from our shelves. Scorzonera is less fibrous and is tastier with a gentle, sweet flavour.

Children love it !

We plant our sweet potatoes in May under the west-southern French sun, in a sandy soil that is well-drained and nice and warm. This ensures optimal root development.

A spectacular renewal

This « forgotten » vegetable is experiencing a spectacular come-bak. It can be enjoyed both raw and cooked.
Parsnips keep well in the soil and we can harvest from September to March.
